SONY's GREENY LAPTOP

To overcome threats posed by global warming, Sony has launched what could be regarded as a true green net book “eco-friendly” Mini net book that has been made of 23 per cent recycled CDs, and its carrying case is made of recycled plastic bottles. The 10-inch LED-lit net book runs on Windows 7 Starter includes new Cyber-shot digital cameras and camcorders, home theater audio systems, and an intriguing touch screen Internet viewer for the desk called the Dash. Unlike most 10-inch net books, this one comes standard with an HD display (1366 x 768). Other noteworthy specs include a 250GB hard drive and up to 7 hours of battery life. It has 4 new Vaio notebooks each with its own personality.
W series “eco-friendly” Mini - green-tinted plastic enclosure is made of 23 percent recycled CDs and that the carrying case is made of recycled plastic bottles.
Z series lightweight - aluminum-encased Z is about three pounds and ships exclusively with solid-state drives, up to a 512-gigabyte model.
F series - latest entry in the multimedia entertainment portable space, just-right-for-movies 16.4-inch screen
Y series - semi-lightweight (four pounds) MacBook fighter that delivers up to seven hours of battery life and incorporates a 13-inch screen starts at about $800. The mimic bands the keyword opposite the given earth.
